ACAT Management Software was developed by seasoned acquisition professionals and expert systems architects. It is a secure, all-in-one platform for managing complex government acquisitions. It consolidates contract data, data rights, and communications; provides access to predetermined commercial item determinations; provides real-time funding visibility; and streamlines IPT workflows to enhance accountability and efficiency.

Future growth includes expanding ACAT into a full contract creation and clause selection tool, reducing administrative burden and ensuring compliance from the outset. Additionally, by utilizing Defense Acquisition University (DAU) training modules will embed education directly into the workflow, allowing users to access targeted learning resources while managing real-world contracts. This evolution positions ACAT not just as a management tool, but as a complete acquisition lifecycle solution—supporting everything from requirement development to contract closeout.
